Morse Code Online Encryption and Decryption Tool

Chinese Morse Code Encryption and Decryption Tool: A utility for encrypting and decrypting Chinese Morse code. When decrypting, pay attention to the separators between characters.

Standard Morse code does not include Chinese characters. This Chinese Morse code tool uses Unicode to convert text into Morse code.

About Morse Code

Morse code (also known as the Morse alphabet) is a signal code that alternates between on and off states.

This signal code expresses different English letters, numbers, and punctuation marks through varying sequences of arrangements.

Morse code-encrypted characters consist solely of letters, numbers, and punctuation marks, with no distinction between uppercase and lowercase letters. It supports Chinese characters.

Invented by American Samuel Finley Breese Morse in 1837, it laid the groundwork for the invention of the Morse telegraph in 1835.

Morse code light distress signal

Morse code is simple and clear, with minimal ambiguity. It primarily consists of two characters: “.” and “-”, representing a long and a short signal respectively.

This has many applications in various situations, such as sending distress signals.

When using Morse code signals for distress calls, define: a steady light as “-”, and a brief light as “.”. This allows transmitting various messages, such as distress signals, by toggling the flashlight switch.

If the lights flash in the pattern “short flash, dark, short flash, dark, short flash, dark, long flash, dark, long flash, dark, long flash, dark, short flash, dark, short flash, dark, short flash,” then it signifies the distress signal SOS.

Since the Morse code for SOS is: ··· --- ···, it can be encoded using lights according to the above rules. This encoding is actually very simple:Three short, three long, three short

In addition to lights, using sound signals (two distinct sounds) can also send distress signals. This method of signaling for help is something we should all be familiar with, as it may prove useful in critical situations.
